How to Change Personal Data
Primary Name Change
To update your legal name with Clark College on your student record you must submit a completed Student Update Form, photo ID, and supporting documents that show previous and new name. Please submit to Enrollment Services at enroll@clark.edu. Or you may join the Welcome Center and Enrollment Services Virtual Zoom Room.
Legal Documentation Options:
- State or government photo ID showing new legal name
- State or government photo ID showing previous name with official documentation of new name such as court documents or marriage certificate

Social Security Number Update
To update your Social Security number with Clark College on your student record you must submit a completed Student Update Form, show photo ID and social security card. Please submit to Enrollment Services at enroll@clark.edu. Or you may join the Welcome Center and Enrollment Services Virtual Zoom Room.
Please do not send Social Security numbers via e-mail. Clark College recommends updating Social Security number through our Virtual Zoom Room or the One Stop (in-person assistance).
Date of Birth Update
To update your date of birth with Clark College on your student record you must submit a completed Student Update Form, photo ID, and supporting documents that show correct date of birth. Please submit to Enrollment Services at enroll@clark.edu. Or you may join the Welcome Center and Enrollment Services Virtual Zoom Room.
Gender Update
In order to update gender on your student record, you must submit a completed Student Update Form and photo ID, along with supporting document that shows updated gender. Please submit to Enrollment Services at enroll@clark.edu. If you have questions you may join the Welcome Center and Enrollment Services Virtual Zoom Room.
Preferred Name Change
Students may add a preferred name to their Clark College ctcLink student record. A preferred name that differs from a Primary/legal name. To add or update your preferred name on file:
- Log into your ctcLink account at MyClark@ctcLink
- Select "Student Homepage"
- Select "Profile"
- Select "Personal Details"
- Select + to add a Preferred Name
- Enter Type and select "Preferred" and enter preferred first and last name
- Enter changes and save

The student's Primary Name can be verified, but not updated.

ctcLink Grade Roster
Student Homepage
Please be aware that some communications from Clark College may be addressed to your
preferred name.
Address, Phone and Email Change
Clark College maintains postal addresses for all students. To update an address, phone, or email on file:
- Log into your ctcLink account at MyClark@ctcLink
- Select "Student Homepage"
- Select "Profile"
- Select "Contact Details" and/or "Addresses"
- Select an existing Email, Phone, or Address to update it; or, select + to add another Home Address; or, select one of the Add ... icons.
- If appropriate, check the Preferred check box
- Enter changes and save
