How do I apply for Veterans’ Benefits?
Applying for your VA Educational Benefits:
- Apply on-line using the VA’s VONAPP web, print a copy of your application and bring it
to Clark College’s VA office so that we can create your file and get your
benefits started.

Call the VA at 1-888-GI BILL (1-888-442-4551). Note that the Clark College’s Veterans
Affairs Department does not determine or confirm eligibility for educational benefits;
this is done by the regional VA Office in Muskogee, Oklahoma. |

What do I do if there is a problem with my pay? |
Make sure you have done everything required in order to receive your benefits, as
outlined above. Also, check our Reasons for Delay page for further information. In addition, you may contact Clark College’s VA office
for further assistance.

Will I receive pay during the breaks between terms? |
Break or interval pay is no longer payable under any VA education benefit program
unless under an Executive Order of the President or due to an emergency situation
such as a natural disaster or strike (effective August 1, 2011). |

What if I am failing or in danger of not passing a course? |
Contact the Veterans Affairs office at Clark College as soon as you suspect you may
have a problem at 360-992-2112 or 360-992-2711. |
