About the Artist: 

John Stephen Mangan was a student at Clark College.

Artwork description:

Two landscape paintings. On the left a stream cuts the landscape from the foreground and vanishes to the right. There is a paper airplane just above the water at the bottom left, and a large rock to the right. The sky is blue and has white and gray clouds. On the right a stream is featured in the center, vanishing into the horizon. There are rocks that have paintings in the front and other rock formations along the stream. The sky is a hazy white.
