About the Artist:
Ford Crull is a Seattle-based painter. He creates abstract compositions populated by colorful, energetic, and ambiguous forms and symbols. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1976. He studied at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles in 1981.
Artwork description:
This piece is one of two panels (artwork 225) by artist Ford Crull that feature brightly colored and intricately detailed abstract figures. These works imaginatively investigate negative space while energetically asking the viewer to interpret the interaction of forms.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Central Kitsap School District and Clark College. WSAC1976.030.002
