Verify Your Enrollment
If you are receiving educational benefits under the Montgomery G.I. Bill® (Chapters 30, 1606 & 1607) you must verify your enrollment each month for which you are attending classes. Verification is available on the last calendar day of the month that you are attending classes. You may verify your enrollment at a later date but your pay will not be sent until you do so.
Currently, there is no monthly self-verification required for Post 9/11 GI-Bill® (Chapter 33). Chapter 33 students must comply with all required procedures at the institution they are attending. Clark College Checklist
To verify your enrollment, call the MGIB Monthly Verification System at 1-877-823-2378 or visit the Web Automated Verification of Enrollment (WAVE) website.
Dropping Courses
If a student withdraws from or drops a course or courses after the reimbursement period the student will owe the tuition amount back to the VA. If these changes occur you must report your new schedule to Clark College’s VA office, otherwise pay may still be received for courses that are not being attended which will create an overpayment. When verifying, if verification reflects a higher level of attendance than the current enrollment please contact Clark College’s VA office. Incorrect verification will result in an overpayment situation with the VA and future benefits will be affected.
