President Edwards delivers 2022 State of the College Address

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Dr. Karin Edwards, Clark College President, will deliver the 2022 State of the College Address to share the college’s vision, challenges, and accomplishments with the larger community. The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, January 20, in Gaiser Student Center on Clark College’s main campus. 

Due to COVID-19the in-person seating at the event is limited to invitation only to allow for social distancing. A recorded video of the event will be available online at after January 27. 

Dr. Edwards will speak on how the college is working to keep students learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, the development of a new strategic plan, continuing budget challenges, and advancing racial equity in higher education. Associated Students of Clark College President Xander Hawkins will also share his experiences as a Clark College student. 

The video will be captioned and has picture-in-picture American Sign Language interpretation.
