History of Developing the Strategic Plan
Initial work for the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan started with a campus discussion dubbed "Vision 2020".
From there, the campus moved into Strategic Planning starting in earnest on Opening Day 2013. A strategic plan is the set of strategies to achieve a collective set of purposes and includes these critical characteristics:
- Comprehensive
- Provides Direction
- A Tool for Decision-Making
- Initiatives to pursue
- Allocation of resources
The Planning and Accreditation Committee, a college-represented group, leads the development of the strategic plan. The Clark College 2015-2020 Strategic Plan will be developed with the participation of every member of Clark College. For more information a handout was provided as we started to the process of developing the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan.
Initial discussion revolved around four key themes. Each group has the opportunity to meet after reading about the topic, and then discuss and provide feedback.
