Dr. Rassoul Dastmozd began his personal journey in community college as a student.  "For the past 22 years, I have been associated with two Iowa community college districts in many roles:  a faculty member, a department chair, and an academic dean," he said.  "I believe community colleges are the most dynamic, affordable, and accessible vehicles in responding to the needs of a changing population.  This reflects my personal belief about community college philosophy; that is, community college mission is based on responsiveness, equitable quality programming initiatives, and access.  As a premier comprehensive community college, Clark’s mission also mirrors these ideals."

He added, "Whether your goal is to enroll for GED, ABE, or ESL courses, certificates, diplomas, Professional Career Technical Education two-year programs or two-year college transfer programs, let me assure you that our hardworking faculty members are knowledgeable and dedicated to academic excellence; our tireless staff members are committed to providing you the support you need in your endeavors. Collectively, our team’s priority is to provide you a positive learning experience at beautiful Clark College."

Dr. Dastmozd enjoys jogging, taking long walks, outdoor activities, cooking, reading, and collecting antiques.
