Clark College employees play a vital role in making the college a safe, healthy and productive place to work and learn. The goal of the New Employee Orientation process is to welcome new employees to the college and provide the information and resources they need to succeed in their new position.
New administrative, exempt, classified and temporary hourly employees are provided with a New Employee Success Training (NEST) notebook their first week at Clark. Employees work through this interactive binder with their supervisor and/or trainer, gaining access to important policy and employment information and resources that will help ease their transition.
New employees are also invited to attend a New Employee Welcome (NEW) session where they can enjoy refreshments, meet leaders from the organization, and network with other new employees in a fun and friendly environment.
Clark College offers all staff and full time faculty the convenience of online training through our Learning Management System, Higher Ed Works. This training system offers modules on a variety of professional, safety and compliance topics, including Clark specific trainings that meet the diverse needs of the organization. Employees may log into Higher Ed Works here: Higher Ed Works
Employees can request access to Lynda.com, an online subscription library that teaches the latest software tools and skills through high-quality instructional videos. There are a limited number of transferrable licenses available. Contact email@example.com for more information.
