Clark College offers funding opportunities for off campus training. Employees may apply in advance for training funds that are relevant to position and department goals, and align with the college's core themes.
Clark College employees play a vital role in making the college a safe, healthy and productive place to work and learn. The goal of the New Employee Orientation process is to welcome new employees to the college and provide the information and resources they need to succeed in their new position.
New administrative, exempt, classified and temporary hourly employees are provided with a New Employee Success Training (NEST) notebook their first week at Clark. Employees work through this interactive notebook with their supervisor and/or trainer, gaining access to important policy and employment information and resources that will help support their transition.
New employees are also invited to attend a New Employee Welcome (NEW) session where they can enjoy refreshments, meet leaders from the organization, and network with other new employees in a fun and friendly environment.
Clark College offers all staff and full-time faculty the convenience of online training through our Learning Management System, Higher Ed Works. This training system offers modules on a variety of professional, safety and human resource topics, including trainings that focus on Clark specific policies and procedures.
