CLARK COLLEGE’S CONCERT CHOIR
AND CONCERT BAND PERFORM
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The Clark College Concert Choir, directed by Gordon Trousdale, and the Concert Band, under the direction of new conductor David Parker, will perform their Winter Concert on Friday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Royal Durst Theatre at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics, 3101 Main Street. Admission to the concert is free. Donations to the Music Scholarship Fund will be accepted at the door.
The 45-member Concert Choir will perform Ivor Davies’ Prayers from the Ark and Ubi Caritas by Morten Lauridsen.
The Concert Band’s program will include Images by Robert Sheldon, based on a Welsh lullaby; Gustav Holst’s Second Suite in F; another piece by Lauridsen, O Magnum Mysterium, transcribed by H. Robert Reynolds; and Vesuvius by Frank Ticheli.
