A WARM SUMMER NIGHT OF COOL JAZZ
Clark College will host its first-ever jazz night on Tuesday, June 5
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The first-ever Clark jazz night, presented by the Clark College Music Department, will occur on Tuesday, June 5, at 7:30 p.m. in Gaiser Hall on the college campus.
This will be the first time that the Clark College Jazz Ensemble and the Clark College Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform on the same stage, as they usually perform separately. The jazz band has 18 members and is directed by David Parker. Janet Reiter directs the vocal ensemble. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.
The Clark College Jazz Ensemble is leaving on tour to Hawaii on June 23 and has been preparing for their performances there.
