RUNNING FROM HOOD TO COAST:  ONE (NEXT) STEP
AT A TIME

For the 22nd time in in the 26-year history of the event, a team from Clark College has taken part in Oregon's famous Hood to Coast (HTC) race, billeHealth and Physical Education professor Lee Brand carries a penguin mascot as he celebrates the end of the 2007 Hood to Coast relay.d as the world's longest relay.  The challenging event begins at Mt. Hood's Timberline Lodge and concludes on the sandy beaches of Seaside, Oregon.

The Clark team, which finished in 27 hours, 33 minutes and 45 seconds, finished 14th out of 76 teams in their category. 

The Clark team included Health and Physical Education professor Lee Brand (seen accompanied by Clark mascot Oswald in the photo on the right), Biology instructor Steve Clark, Financial Aid program coordinator Lizette Drennan, President Bob Knight, Andrea Johnson, former student Traci Johnson, professor emeritus John Martin, former students Zack Martin and Terri Phimister, and Clark adjunct biology and health sciences instructor Steve Woodley.
