Celebrating a Diamond Jubilee: Clark College's 75th Anniversary
PresidentsLetter

Clark College President Bob Knight and students
What happens when a community embraces a dream?

For 75 years, Clark College has shown how the dreams invested in one institution can impact hundreds of thousands of lives and shape the history of a region.

In 1933, a group of educators and businesspeople dared to dream of bringing higher education to Southwest Washington to help the region survive the darkest times of the Great Depression.  Their dreams have forged our legacy over the decades.

It was true during those first difficult years and it’s true today.  Clark College has thrived because it focuses on ensuring that each student has the opportunity to define and achieve success.

Since 1933, Clark has truly been the community’s college.  With pride in our past, we embrace our future.  We continue to dream – with our students and our community -- for the next 75 years and beyond.
