To provide for challenging learning experiences beyond regular course work, more advanced students may arrange to undertake Special Projects. With the approval of the division chair and under instructor supervision, you are given an opportunity to plan, organize, and complete independent study projects.

Special Projects are listed in the department course description section of the catalog as course number 290. No more than 15 credits in Special Projects will be allowed toward the Associate in Arts degree. You are responsible to ensure that the credits earned do not exceed this limit and that credits earned will be accepted for transfer. You should contact the instructor to register for a Special Projects course.
