Register for your Department of Education Personal Identification Number (PIN), which allows you to electronically sign, view, and make changes to your FAFSA.

Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

The Department of Education provides a Pre-Application Worksheet to assist you in filling out your application.

• Applications are available on-line , by requesting a packet to be mailed to you,or by coming into the Financial Aid Office directly. We encourage you to apply online.

After you receive a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Department of Education, verify its accuracy, make any necessary corrections.

• Read your SAR carefully and ask us if you have any questions.

Apply for Admission to Clark College.

• Application materials are also available in the Admissions Office.
• Provide official transcripts from any previously attended college other than Clark.
  
  Note: All transcripts are required before your financial aid file can be processed.

Complete a Clark College Data Form and submit it to the Financial Aid Office.

• This form is available on-line or at the Financial Aid Office.
• If selected for verification, you will also need to complete a Verification Worksheet Form and provide your 2005 financial documents such as Tax Return, W-2's, SSI, TANF, etc. -- including parent(s) information (if dependent).
• Please fill out form(s) online.Since electronic submission of the forms is currently not available; we recommend mailing, faxing to 360-992-2864, or delivering the form(s) to the Financial Aid Office.

Once your Financial Aid has been processed, you will receive an award letter showing the amount of funds that you have been awarded. Read your award letter and award letter insert(s) carefully in order to understand what happens next and to verify accuracy.

• If you choose to apply for a Federal Stafford Loan:
  • Complete online Entrance Interview
  • Complete MPN (Master Promissory Note)
  • Complete and turn in a loan application

At the begining of each quarter, get a Proof of Attendance form, signed by one of your instructors (valid for one week after signature date) and bring picture ID to pick up a check.
