In celebration of over 50 years of Nursing Education Excellence, Clark College Nursing is pleased to invite alumni, students and nursing professionals to attend the fourth presentation of the Speights' Distinguished Lecture, "Bedside Manners: An Interactive Play". Performed across the nation at top health care institutions, come witness Clark College faculty and students act out vignettes based on actual events. It's a gripping teaching opportunity designed to improve effective communication for health care professionals..

Clark College Nursing Program is pleased to have Suzanne Gordon presenting "Bedside Manners: An Interactive Play"

Suzanne Gordon is an award winning journalist and author who writes about healthcare delivery, health care systems, and patient safety. She has written 15 books that include, First Do Less Harm: Confronting Inconvenient Problems in Patient Safety; Beyond the Checklist; From Silence to Voice: What Nurses Know and Must Communicate to the Public; and her latest book, Beyond the Checklist: What Else Healthcare Can Learn from Aviation Safety and Teamwork.

While focusing on teamwork in healthcare, Suzanne Gordon developed the concept of Team Intelligence. She provides consultation and training to promote teamwork in healthcare around the world.
