The computer scientist designs and implements computer languages and
operating systems or works with expert systems, artificial intelligence,
robotics and related tasks.
Clark offers beginning computer classes as well as computer language
courses recommended for lower division studies leading to a four-year
degree in computer science. Students seeking a transfer degree should
work with department advisors.

Computer Applications Skills Awards provide you with short
term training in professional skills that can prepare you for the
job market in just three months.

Network Administrator (CNET)
Network administrators maintain and support groups of computers
that are wired together into a network. Coursework includes instruction
in communication and problem-solving skills, hardware, operating systems,
and multiple network platforms.
- Microcomputer
Support Specialist (MCSS)
Microcomputer support specialists offers service and
technical support to microcomputer users. Coursework includes work-based
learning experiences and instruction in communication and problem-solving
skills, hardware, software, operating systems, applications software,
and computer networks.
- Software
Solutions Development (SSD)

Software Solutions Development Specialists analyze
user requirements and design, develop, qualify and support software
solutions to meet those requirements.
