What’s that? You’ve never heard of the Cavalcade of Stars? Let me guess, you’ve never heard of Jackie Gleason either, right? Well, in a time before the mind numbingly stupid “reality television” the networks fob off onto us today, there was a lot of quality television programing. I’m talking, Grade A, number one, top notch quality. One of these programs was the Cavalcade of Stars. It’s where the Honeymooners was first broadcast back in October of 1951.
