Hitting the books this summer

More than 6,700 students have registered
for summer classes at Clark College

VANCOUVER, Wash. – More than 6,700 students will spend part of their summer taking the next step by taking classes at Clark College. Summer quarter begins on Monday, July 2.

Space is still available for continuing students in classes including chemistry, English 101 and intermediate algebra. New students should pursue class offerings for fall quarter. For information about classes and programs, visit http://www.clark.edu/academics/.

During July and August, college offices and services will be closed to the public each Friday at noon. This is a pilot project designed to help college programs manage workloads during the next academic year when a temporary leave program required under the state’s mandatory 3% wage reduction will reduce the number of available full-time staff hours.

Summer classes will be held as scheduled during those afternoon hours. Regular Friday hours of service will resume in September.

Clark College is the second largest community college in Washington state. Complete information about Clark College is available 24/7 at www.clark.edu and on the college’s Facebook and Twitter sites.  Clark is also active on Flickr and YouTube.
