VANCOUVER, Wash. – The University of the Philippines Concert Chorus will perform at Clark College on Friday, April 9 from noon to 1 p.m.  The performance, which will be held in the Gaiser Student Center, is free and open to the public.  Parking maps and driving directions are available at www.clark.edu/maps.

The University of the Philippines (UP) Concert Chorus is the official state university choir. Established in 1962 by then UP President, Carlos P. Romulo, the UP Concert Chorus has “defined and achieved a proud career showcasing excellent Filipino artistry in music and dance to captivate local and international audiences.” Organizers note that, after 48 years, “The UPCC has grown from an excellent university chorus, to an entity of national stature, to a choir of international recognition.”

The event is sponsored by Clark College, the Filipino-American Association of Clark County, and Vicinity, Inc. For additional information, please contact Vivian Tadeo at (360) 574-6275 or evcntadeo@msn.com.
