ESL (English as a Second Language) -- These classes are geared toward students who grew up speaking a language other than English. They range from very basic classes teaching simple vocabulary to more advanced classes that tackle grammar and spelling.
ESL classes do not earn college credit and are offered for less tuition than college courses.
