Criteria for speaker selection include:
- Topic is an area of expertise for the speaker
- Topic is grounded in research/has scholarly depth
- Topic appeals to a wide audience
- Topic is timely
- Application submitted on time
- Facility available when speaker is available
** **Faculty members will be notified when selected and will be paid at the community rate for up to 8.5 hours upon completion of the presentation.
