Smart Classroom Podium Training
A Smart Classroom consists of a podium with electronic components inside. If you are teaching in a Smart Classroom, a key is required to access the equipment. To receive your key you must complete a brief training session online.
Online Smart Classroom Podium Training
Online Smart Classroom Orientation may be taken online from any location. You will be guided through the basic operation and features of the Smart Classroom podium. A printer is required to print the quiz results page which is required to receive a podium key. Click here to navigate directly to the training module, or use the following instructions:
- Navigate to intranet.clark.edu
- Enter your Clark email login and password if prompted
- Click "Tools" in the navigation menu
- Click "Training Library," which is found under "Employee Training"
- Click "Smart Classroom Podium Training"
Go through the presentation and complete a brief quiz. To obtain a key, print out your passing (80% or higher) score sheet; write your name, phone number and department name at the top; and bring your score sheet to the Help Desk in IT in the basement of Baird Administration Building room 011.
Satellite Campuses: To obtain a key, print out your passing (80% or higher) score sheet; write your name, phone number, department name and mailstop at the top; mail your score sheet to Information Technology Services, BRD 017. A podium key will be sent to you at the designated mailstop.
If you are not returning to Clark College, please be sure to return your podium key to the IT Help Desk in the basement of Baird room 011.
