Description
Faculty Fellows is designed for all faculty at Clark. This program offers you effective research-based teaching strategies that facilitate student learning, and also highlights college services for student and faculty success. The program is planned so that faculty members learn from each other and professionals from across the campus in a supportive encouraging environment.
This is a community of faculty where collaboration is respected and encouraged, where friendships develop between colleagues within and across departments, and where there is time and opportunity for interaction and talk about ideas, one’s work, and universal challenges.
The pressure to get ready for classes, committee work, program review, assessment projects, campus procedures, and departmental responsibilities is greatly reduced if you have assistance in coping with the issues related to these tasks. Faculty will receive assistance and be able to build connections with colleagues from across campus while sharing in discussions about teaching pedagogy. It is not only professional relationships that are formed when planning assessment projects or formulating grant ideas, but personal friendships.
Sessions will be held once a month during the second Friday of fall, winter, and spring quarters.
