The Service-Learning Program serves you!
The Service-Learning Program offers the following resources to faculty interested in
incorporating service-learning into their course:
- General information on service learning including books, syllabi examples, reflection and assessment tools.
- Student Orientations:
Facilitate structured service-learning student orientations to provide students with
an overview of the process, site information, expectations and forms.
- Service-Learning project development:
Recommend organizations based on course objectives.
Consult with faculty on project sites, student orientation, reflection, and assessment/evaluation tools.
- Student Site Placement:
Assist students in finding a service-learning site in-line with the course objectives.
- Coordinate and implement curricular and co-curricular service activities.
Faculty using Service-Learning are required to follow the Service-Learning Policies & Procedures.
Student Service-Learning information including forms, time-logs, scholarship opportunities and upcoming service projects.
