Employment Services Center at Clark College has produced several
other handouts to assist you with various aspects of your job search.
There
are dozens of books available on job hunting. The Career Center
has many to choose from, or you can visit your local library or
favorite bookstore. If you decide to buy a book, peruse it carefully
first to make sure that you like the author's style and approach.
Remember,
a job search is hard work and requires a commitment from you both
in time and energy. The smart job searchers are the ones who target
their search and choose those strategies which are most likely to
connect them with the decision makers.
