Participation in Commencement Ceremonies
The June commencement is a ceremony for those students who have completed or plan to complete their degree or certificate during fall, winter or spring of the current school year, or the summer quarter immediately following. Participation is not required. Candidates must file their graduation application and cap and gown order by the appropriate deadline to be eligible. Ceremony participation does not guarantee degree completion.
Commencement Regalia (Cap and Gown) Information
Cap and Gown order forms are available in the Advising Center. You can obtain the form once you have turned in your Graduation Application to the Credential Evaluations Office in GHL 108. It is the responsibility of the student to submit their graduation (also called "program completion") application to Credentials; students who do not submit their graduation application to Credentials may not be able to receive their degrees or certificates, and students who do not submit a Cap and Gown order form to the Bookstore may not be able to attend Commencement.
- Cap and Gown order form is to be turned in to the Bookstore by April 18, 2013, any order placed after this deadline will be limited to stock on-hand and available on a first-come, first serve basis.
- Cap/Gown/Tassel package is $22.00 ea. (payment is due at the time of order placement).
- No refunds will be honored after the order deadline.
- If you qualify for honors you may pick up your regalia with your packet June 3rd - 14th. Eligibility for honors will be based on winter quarter grades. Honors packets are $11. If you have any questions regarding your status please contact Credential Evaluations.
All pre-paid orders can be picked up June 3rd - 14th.
Orders not picked up by June 14 will be made available to other students to purchase.
Please check with the Bookstore for current hours.
Late cap and gown purchases:
A limited quantity of cap and gown packages will be available for purchase on a first come first serve basis starting June 3rd to students that missed the order deadline.
Announcements
Up to five free announcements will be available to each participant. Students may pick these up in the Clark College Bookstore. Additional announcements will be available for purchase for .50 each.
