Commencement Ceremony

Participation in Commencement Ceremonies
The June commencement is a ceremony for those students who have completed or plan to complete their degree or certificate during fall, winter or spring of the current school year, or the summer quarter immediately following. Participation is not required. Candidates must file their graduation application and cap and gown order by the appropriate deadline to be eligible. Ceremony participation does not guarantee degree completion.


Commencement Regalia (Cap and Gown) Information
It is the responsibility of the student to submit a Cap and Gown Order form to the Credential Evaluations Office or the Welcome Center. The form is available at the Weclome Center in PUB 002 or online. Only students who submit a Cap and Gown Order form and a graduation application will be allowed to participate in the Commencement ceremony. The deadline for application is April 1. Students who have submitted their application will receive detailed information in mid-May regarding the process for ceremony participation and cap and gown disbursement.

You may pick up your gown packet in Bauer Hall Room 109 on June 16, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or on June 17, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please bring picture ID with you. The school will provide you with a cap, gown, and one tassel. You do not need to return the graduation attire. If you wish to purchase additional tassels, they will be available in the College Bookstore at a cost of approximately $3.00.

Announcements
Each graduating student will receive ten free announcements. Additional announcements will be available for purchase in the College Bookstore May 15th at a cost of $0.50 each. You may pick up your free announcements at the Clark College Bookstore during one of the following times:

Tuesday, May 13th .......... 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, May 14th ..... 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 15th ......... 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.


Personalized Name Cards
Personalized name cards for insertion in your announcements are available by special order through the Clark College Bookstore on May 13th and 14th from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Please visit the bookstore in Gaiser Hall or call (360) 992-2149 for cost and ordering information.

Balfour Ring
The vendor will be on campus at the Bookstore May 13th and 14th from 9:00am- 3:00pm.

Graduation Video Pre-order
You may pre-order your video by submitting the order form that will be available at the Bookstore May 13th and 14th from 9:00am – 3:00pm.
