Contact: asccpt@clark.edu Hey Penguins! I am really happy to have the opportunity to be the ASCC President, I have many goals set and I am excited to serve the student body. My plan is to work with the faculty and staff to efficiently use available resources so that you can all have the best access to everything you need to fully succeed in your goals of higher education. Clark is a great institution that provides us all with the tools we need to meet our dreams, but sometimes those tools can be hard to find, so I will be working hard to put the information out there that you need. I will be available in the Office of Student Life and Multicultural Student Affairs for your questions, comments, concerns, or ideas. Please come see me, email me or give me a call and I will do my best to help you with whatever you need to succeed! Thanks! |

Contact: asccvp@clark.edu In the four years of student government at my high school, I have discovered, first hand, how powerful our student voices can be. Whether it was appealing an administrative decision, implementing new ideas, or demanding change, we as the Associated Students of Clark College have the abilities, talents, and resources, to make our voices be heard! So if you have any ideas, questions, or concerns, be sure to tell us and together we can make sure you are represented! I want this year to be fun and hope to get the students involved, whether through clubs, committees, and volunteering at events. My goals are to fill all the committees with a student representative, increase voters turnout for ASCC elections, and help make a positive experience for the students here at Clark! |

Contact: asccad@clark.edu I am the ASCC Activities Director for Clark College. I am extremely excited to start my journey this year on the ASCC team. I have served on the ASCC Constitution and Bylaws Review Committee, as well as the ASCC PUB Committee. I am also the Vice President of Club for Social Action at Clark College for the 2009-2010 school year. My major is Theatre, and currently I am working towards a transfer degree at Clark College. After that I plan to go to a performing arts university to earn a Bachelors Degree in Theatre, and then my ultimate goal is to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. My ultimate goal for this school year is to bring social, cultural, educational, and entertainment filled events to Clark College students. I also want to utilize Clark College entertainment resources, provide suggestion boxes to get students input, use biodegradable utensils at events, and increase student turnout at all events. |

Contact: asccpr@clark.edu Angela Hooper has been attending Clark College since 2003 as a Running Start student; although she has been on campus since 1992 when her father attended classes and worked for the Independent. She has been an active member of the student community; whether it be volunteering when needed, working for the bookstore, or as an officer of a club on campus for the last four years. Angela's studies in the Graphic Communications field have helped her develop the necessary skills for her position as Public Relations Director and her knowledge of campus and the student community will help introduce new and old students to the ASCC. |

Contact: asccfd@clark.edu My name is Alyshia Saltman and I am excited to serve as the Associated Students of Clark College (ASCC) Finance Director for the second year in a row! In high school I was part of the International Baccalaureate program at Columbia River High School and graduated in 2006. This year will be my fourth year at Clark College and though, this is a two year college I believe that there is so much more to experience and learn then two years can provide. When I came to Clark College I was convinced that the right career path for me was medical, not a doctor per se but a medical examiner. I held onto that belief until the end of winter quarter when I realized that I wasn’t happy with my classes and needed a change. Since then I’ve decided to make Student Life my life. ASCC is and has been an amazing experience, not to mention a wonderful privilege. As an ASCC officer I have knowledge of most everything going on around campus and I feel it is my responsibility to share my knowledge with other students. My one request is to have more students take advantage of the wonderful programs and services ASCC offers. ASCC is here to serve the students and I have loved every moment of it! Thank you for taking the time to read this and know that I look forward to serving the students this year. |

Contact: asccex@clark.edu Summer Heasley is a nursing student who knows what it takes to be organized and how to take on responsibility. Last year, she was as a member on the Activities Programming Board for the ASCC. This year, she is proud to serve our college once again. As the Executive Assistant, she plans to provide an unbiased presence in all ASCC committees while recording all that is expressed to the best of her ability. She also plans to facilitate Vendor Fair each quarter to bring many of our unique clubs together and to have students get involved. Her ultimate goal this year is to help build a closer campus community at Clark College. She loves learning, hearing about new ideas, and meeting new people, so please do not be hesitant to stop by the ASCC and say hello. |
