Softball became the newest addition to Penguin athletics in 2006. The 2007 Clark College softball team has a solid core of returning sophomores and the addition several strong newcomers.

Under the leadership of new coach Kasey Powers, the team is looking forward to continuing to build a strong program and being competitive in the NWAAC south division.

Coach Powers, who coached softball at Skyview High School for eight years, notes that Clark County has a well deserved reputation for outstanding high school and Amateur Softball Association (ASA) softball. He is “forward to working with coaches in Southwest Washington to keep the homegrown talent here in our area and build a program that the entire community can take pride in.”
