In line with current best practices, the BIT team has revised our scope and procedures to keep the best of what we were already doing and include threat assessment as part of our process to identify and respond to individuals who may pose a danger to self, others or the college community. Our new name BITA - Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment - better reflects the scope of what our team does.
