Jacqueline Allen-Bond is a full-time, tenured English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor at Clark College. She joined the faculty of Clark College in September, 2000. She is a graduate of the School for International Training (SIT) in Brattleboro, Vermont. Jacqueline earned a Masters in Teaching from SIT, in addition to a Royal Society of Arts (RSA) Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in London, England and a Bachelor of Music (in vocal performance) in Victoria, BC, Canada.
Jacqueline specializes in English as a Second Language Teaching and Teacher Training. She trains volunteer ESL tutors for the Clark College Adult Literacy Program, the Vancouver Public Library System and various literacy organizations throughout Washington. She currently serves on the Clark College Curriculum Committee, Outcomes Assessment Committee and volunteers every year as the Vendor Chair for the Clark College Women’s Conferences. She has taught ESL and teacher training in various countries throughout the world and speaks several languages including Japanese, Italian and German.
