The Clark College Faculty Speakers Series features Heather McAfee, professor of Geography, who will share her holistic approach to living, researching and instructing within the discipline. She will demonstrate how her passion for geography goes beyond rote memorization and conventional lectures to bring the far corners of the world into the hearts and minds of students. McAfee will describe how she challenges students to think critically and spatially about the physical environment, their culture, and a sense of place at multiple dimensions.
