21ST ANNUAL "PATHWAYS TO YOUR FUTURE" CAREER & JOB FAIR OPEN TO VANCOUVER AND PORTLAND AREA JOB SEEKERS
VANCOUVER, Wash. – What has become the largest career and job fair under one roof in Southwest Washington will take place on Tuesday, April 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. 6th St.
The annual “Pathways to Your Future” career and job fair, co-sponsored by Clark College, Washington State University Vancouver and The Columbian, brings timely opportunities for aspiring job seekers and hiring companies to meet about a wide range of professional and technical employment opportunities.
Seventy employers will be in attendance to discuss their hiring plans and open positions for prepared and qualified applicants. Employers are also available to discuss current career trends and the employment skills most in demand. There is no charge to attend. The “Pathways” employment fair is open to anyone in the Vancouver and Portland metropolitan area.
More workshops will be available at 12:00, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15 and 3:00 p.m. Job seekers can also choose to polish interview and networking skills and to get tips about developing a targeted resume and job campaign.
The Return to Learn Services room has been expanded to provide information targeted to individual needs about starting or finishing a college degree, acquiring new or additional job skills and getting financial and support resources to make it happen. Admissions, Advising and Financial Aid representatives will be on hand from Clark College and Washington State University Vancouver.
Free parking is available at the Red Lion at the Quay, located at 100 Columbia Street, Vancouver, and at 700 West Sixth Street. Signs will designate parking areas. Parking will be available on a first-come, first served basis.
