CLARK COLLEGE TEACHER?
Clark College is seeking nominations
for the 2008 Exceptional Faculty Awards
VANCOUVER, Wash. — Attention students and alumni of Clark College: The college’s Faculty Excellence Committee would like to recognize the efforts of your favorite teacher with an award for excellence of up to $1500. But the college needs to know: who shines?
The Exceptional Faculty awards are based on exemplary teaching performance and a positive impact on students. Additional criteria may include professional achievement, demonstration of respect for differences, cooperative spirit, leadership, and contributions to the college or community.
Additional information and a nomination form are available online are available. Nominations are due by May 9, 2008.
Clark College Foundation President Lisa Gibert said, “The Exceptional Faculty Award recognition program provides Clark College Foundation the opportunity to highlight educators who represent the cornerstone of Clark’s mission. They portray a passion and desire for teaching that inspires students to follow their educational dreams.” Gibert added, “The faculty at Clark College are truly exceptional and on behalf of our donors the Foundation is pleased to be able to offer this award in recognition of their talent.”
