Technical Questions and Solutions:
Q: I’m having trouble logging on to Blackboard, what should I do?
Q: I’m registered and logged on but can’t see my course(s),
Q: I got locked out of a test or quiz, what should I do?
Q: I’m having trouble logging on to Blackboard, what should I do?
A: The most common cause of not being able to log in relates to an incorrect username or password. Please try the following trouble shooting tips:
- If you have recently registered, please allow one business day for your course to be available.
- Try re-entering your username and password, assuring that your Caps Lock control is not activated.
- Your username consists of the first initial of your first name, the first four letters of your last name, and the last four digits of your Student ID (SID). For example: Joe Smith, SID# 940-23-4567 would have a username jsmit4567
- If you haven’t already changed your initial password, it is the last 5 digits of your SID. Joe Smith’s password would be 34567
- If you are still experiencing problems logging on to Blackboard, contact the eLearning office at 1-877-748-2654 to have your password reset.
Q: I’m registered and logged on but can’t see my course(s), what should I do?
A: eLearning course start and end dates are no different than other Clark College courses. You can expect your course(s) to appear around noon on the course’s scheduled start date. If your course(s) still does not appear, contact the eLearning office at 1-877-748-2654
Q: I got locked out of a test or quiz, what should I do?
A: Contact your instructor via email as soon as possible to inform them of your circumstances and allow them a reasonable amount of time to respond. Your instructor’s contact information should be available within your Blackboard class.
