Clark College at Columbia Tech Center: A Brief Timeline
In December 2001, Clark College submitted a request to the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) for a project to enhance service in the eastern portion of the college's service district. It was classified as a "growth project" and was included in SBCTC's budget submittal process in 2002.
The Columbia Tech Center construction project was originally awarded pre-design funding during the 2003-2005 biennium (an outcome of the 2002 session of the Washington State Legislature). The college received design funding for the building during the 2005-2007 biennium. Construction funding was received during the 2007-2009 biennium.
