Federal regulations prohibit funding beyond 150%
of the credits required for a degree or certificate program. This includes
all attempted credits and those transferred from another institution.
State regulations limit state funding to 125% of the credits required.
Students who have reached their funding limit, but require additional
time to complete their degrees, may petition to go beyond the 150% credit
limitation. Students who petition must meet with their advisors to document
the number of credits needed to complete their program of study. If
approved, only those credits listed as required on the Schedule Plan
will be funded. Petition forms, along with additional information, are

Aid Office.

There is also a limit on the number of programs for which students can
receive financial aid. Students may receive funding for up to two degree
and / or certificate programs.
