Enrollment Verification

The Washington State Legislature limits the combined enrollment of a Running Start student between their high school and college schedule. If a Running Start participant exceeds the enrollment combination reflected on the new Running Start Enrollment Verification Form, the Running Start student will be charged for the additional college credits at the full tuition rate.

For example: According to the Running Start Enrollment Verification Form, a student enrolled in 1,403 - 1,500 weekly instructional minutes at the high school is only eligible for 3 credits tuition-free. If the student is enrolled in 5 credits at the college, they will have to pay for 2 credits at the full tuition rate.

This form must be completed each quarter you are in Running Start, be signed by your high school counselor and parent, and brought to the Running Start Office in Gaiser Hall at Clark College. The amount you owe will not be accurate until you bring this form to the Running Start office each quarter.
