Integrated Basic Education Skills Training
I-BEST is specifically designed to help students who may desire extra academic support in the classroom and who meet at least one of the following criteria:
All students must test below college level in reading or math on the CASAS test.
Likely candidates are as follows:
- Students who don’t have their high school diploma or GED.
- Students who have their high school diploma or GED but may have been out of school for a long period of time and test below college level on CASAS in reading or math and would like extra support in the classroom.
- Students who speak English as a second language and have completed at least a level five ESL class at Clark College and/or achieve a score of 220-255 on the CASAS test.
Office Clerk Level One Certificate
The 19 credit IBEST Office Clerk Level 1 Certificate of Completion leads to an Administrative Assistant Associate in Applied Science Degree.

Nursing Assistant Certificate
The 9 credit I-BEST NAC program will prepare a student to take the Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification exam. These credits apply to an associate’s degree in nursing.
