Audition Notice - Winter 2013 production

Directed by H. Gene Biby
Auditions will be held on December 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. and December 3, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Decker Theater in Clark College's Frost Arts Center. No appointment is necessary. Maps & driving directions.
Resume and headshot photos, while appreciated, are not necessary. Please prepare a 2-3 minute song in the style of the show and bring your own sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. (No tapes, CD music, or a cappella singing.) There will be movement, so dress to dance. No callbacks are scheduled at this time.

reasons to be pretty

Auditions will be held on March 18, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Decker Theater in Clark College's Frost Arts Center. Maps & driving directions.
This will be the only day for auditions. There will be no callback dates. Those auditioning will be asked to perform cold readings from the script.
Resumes and headshot photos are appreciated but not required. Please be on time and expect to stay for the entire audition.
Rehearsals will start on March 20 or 21 at 6:30 p.m. There will be no Friday or weekend rehearsals unless needed.
Performance dates are May 3, 4, 10, 11, 16, 17 & 18. There will be two performances on May 11.

Characters
Greg (mid 20s) reads literature and doesn't plan to spend the rest of his life working at a warehouse.
Kent (mid 20s) is an overgrown child whose main preoccupations are sex and sports.
Steph (18 to mid 20s) is a hairdresser who has dated Greg for four years and is genuinely hurt by his offhand remark.
Carly (18 to mid 20s) is a security guard at the warehouse who is quite confident in her looks.
