Associate Degree Nursing (RN)

Applying to the Nursing Program
  • Complete the Community College Application for Admission and Statement of Intent forms. Return them to the Clark College Welcome Center by the posted deadline with the $50.00 non-refundable program application fee; all fees subject to change. A $20 non-refundable, one-time admissions application fee is required for all new or transfer students.
Students do not need to wait until they complete minimum requirements before applying; however, they will not be included in the selection process until all minimum requirements are complete.

  • Submit official college transcripts from ALL colleges attended and send updated official transcripts each term. Health Occupations Admissions cannot ensure inclusion in the selection process unless all official transcripts are on file by the posted deadline. For more information on transferring college credit, refer to the Transfer Credits from other Colleges section.
  • All prerequisite courses must be completed prior to selection. There is a 7 year limit on all science/social science courses at the time of program entry.
  • For the purposes of assigning points, courses may be repeated only one time. If the course is repeated, the grade earned in the second attempt will be used to calculate points. This includes courses with a grade below 2.0. In the case of an incomplete grade or grade change, it is the student’s responsibility to update their records.
Deadlines

All applications must be postmarked by October 1st for possible selection into the following Spring and Fall classes, or April 1st for possible selection into the following Winter class.
