EXPANDED DUTIES TRAINING...
In 1971, the Washington State Legislature granted expanded duties to the dental hygienist. Many states do not offer this opportunity to hygienists within their borders. Clark College's Dental Hygiene program prepares graduates to perform the expanded duties, including administering local anesthetics and nitrous oxide sedation as well as condensing and carving restorations (silver and tooth colored fillings).- BEFORE YOU APPLY
