The Department of Human Development (HDEV) offers courses related to strengthening your skills as a student, exploring career options and making career decisions, improving interpersonal communication skills, learning and applying tools and techniques to cope with stress effectively, and applying strong thinking skills to your academic, personal and professional life.
Human Development courses typically transfer as general elective credits to four year colleges and universities, and may also fulfill the Human Relations requirement for a Clark College Associate of Applied Science Degree.
In addition to our traditional classroom offerings, our department also offers courses online, beginning mid-term, or in a Saturday workshop format to accommodate our student’s busy schedules.
