Application Checklist

Use this checklist to assemble your application packet. 

• Complete Clark College online application, if not a current Clark student.

• Complete placement test(s) if you have not already completed a college-level math and English course. 

• Complete and submit BAS Application form. Submit your application at:

• Pay the $75 non-refundable application fee. Payments can be made:
  • By PHONE by contacting that Cashier's office at (360) 992-2177
  • IN-PERSON by visiting the Cashier's Office located in Gaiser Hall

• Submit official transcripts from all previous colleges attended. Transcripts can be sent to:

Admission Requirements

• At least an Associate of Applied Science (AAS), Associate of Applied Technology (AAT), or higher degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 2.0.

• Completion of the following courses:
  • ENGL& 101 (English Composition I), or equivalent (5 credits)
  • College-level Math, or equivalent (5 credits)
  • CMST& 210 (Interpersonal Communication), CMST& 220 (Public Speaking), CMST& 230 (Small Group Communication), or equivalent

• All specifically listed courses above and all in-program BASAM designated courses must be completed with a "C" or higher

BASAM General Education Requirements (GERs) - 60 quarter credits/40 semester credits are required from the following categories: communication studies, quantitative skills, humanities, social science, and natural science. These GERs can be completed at the Associate Degree and Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management levels. Any additional or remaining GER requirements can be taken before, during, or after the BASAM curriculum.
