Note: Figures are estimated average costs in U.S. dollars to attend full-time for three terms. Actual tuition and fees, room and board, transportation and personal expenses may vary depending on student and are subject to change. Tuition rates for 2008/2009 have been established by the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges but are subject to change.
Credit cards from U.S. banks can be used to pay tuition. A bank account can be opened with a minimal amount of cash soon after your arrive. Bank accounts are good to have so parents and financial sponsors can wire money.
It is important for students to have a good idea of how to budget their money. There are many items available in the U.S. to purchase which are not a necessity; but a luxury, and students must be cautious with their money.
International students can work in the U.S. but only on the Clark College
campus for a maximum of 20 hours. For more information, please see Working
in the U.S.
