Small Classes and Academic Excellence
Students of Clark College attend small classes – typically no more than 25 students per classroom. The professors at Clark are very well-educated with advanced degrees in their fields of study. Because classes are small, the professors can give their students personal attention.

English Instruction
International students may take a range of English classes to prepare them for university-level classes and life in the U.S. When you arrive for the first time, you will take a test to find out whether or not you need additional English for Non-Native Language (ENL) classes.  The test will aso indicate at which level you should be placed for additional practice. For more information, please go to English for Non-Native Language Program.

Degrees and Certificates
Clark College offers excellent programs in many areas of interest to international students: Art, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Culinary Arts, Engineering, Environmental Science, Electronics Technology, International Business, Music, Nursing and many more. Please see the Programs @ Clark section for a complete list of Clark College programs.

Cost and University Transfer
As a two-year college, Clark does not cost as much as a four-year university. For more information on cost, please go to Tuition & Fees .

After you complete your Associates degree at Clark, you may transfer to Washington State University, Portland State University or almost any four-year university (provided you meet their requirements). Some students choose to return home after receiving their two-year degree to work with an international company. We have an Academic Advisor who works specifically with International Students to help you plan your NEXT STEP after Clark.  For more information, please contact us.
