Small Classes and Academic Excellence

At Clark College, it’s all about the student.  Clark College students attend small classes – typically no more than 25 students per classroom.  Because classes are small, the professors can give their students personal attention.   We offer university-level classes led by dedicated and knowledgeable professors who hold advanced degrees in their fields.

Academic Preparation Program for English Language Learners

Clark College’s Academic Preparation Program is designed as a bridge program to help you gain the level of language and cultural proficiency needed to be successful at all colleges and universities in the United States.  Our experienced faculty members will guide you as you learn customs and traditions unique to the United States and master written and conversational English –  giving you the skills needed to be successful in university-level classes.  Pending Curriculum Committee approval, the Academic Preparation Program will begin in fall 2010.

Additionally, Clark College has Co-Admissions (Articulation) Agreements with the following institutions:

  • Washington State University Vancouver
  • Portland State University
  • Eastern Washington University
