Students of Clark College attend small classes – typically no more than 25 students per classroom. The professors at Clark are very well-educated with advanced degrees in their fields of study. Because classes are small, the professors can give their students personal attention.
English Instruction
International students may take a range of English classes to prepare
them for university-level classes and life in the U.S. When you arrive for the first
time, you will take a test to find out whether or not you need additional English for Non-Native Language (ENL) classes. The test will aso indicate at which level you should be placed for additional practice.

Cost and University Transfer
As a two-year college, Clark does not cost as much as a four-year university.

After you complete your Associates degree at Clark, you may transfer to Washington State University, Portland State University or almost any four-year university (provided you meet their requirements). Some students choose to return home after receiving their two-year degree to work with an international company.
