Vancouver,
Washington is just minutes by car from downtown Portland, Oregon,
a major metropolitan city with professional sports teams, art museums,
a symphony orchestra, many beautiful parks and its world
famous Japanese Gardens. The climate in the Pacific Northwest is
moderate all year round, with daytime highs near 24 Celsius in summer
and lows around 10 Celsius in the winter. We only rarely experience
temperatures beyond this range, but we do get a fair amount of rain
in the winter and spring, which is why everything is always so green
