What is Blackboard Collaborate/Elluminate?
Clark College has access to the state-wide license for Blackboard Collaborate, which includes FREE unlimited use by all college staff. If you are unfamiliar with Blackboard Collaborate, you can watch “Blackboard Collaborate in 50-seconds.” Blackboard Collaborate used to be called Elluminate.
How Do I Attend a Meeting in Blackboard Collaborate?
For participants, there is a five minute orientation available on the Blackboard Collaborate website.
How Do You Get Your Own Blackboard Collaborate Room? Sign up for and complete the following free one hour online training session: Getting Started with Blackboard Collaborate Live! For Moderators
You will need to access the documentation provided here for the Advanced Blackboard Collaborate topics as live trainings are no longer offered for these.
After you complete the training contact the Clark College Blackboard Collaborate administrator, Scott Coffie, to let him know you've completed the training. He will send you your account information and instructions on how to set up your Blackboard Collaborate room(s) and you'll be up and running.
