The General Educational Development (GED) tests are developed by the General Educational Development Testing Service (GEDTS) of the American Council on Education. The GED tests are designed to provide an opportunity for adults who have not graduated from high school to earn a high school diploma.
The GED tests are offered weekly by appointment only. To begin the GED testing process visit the Assessment Center Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm with the following:
- Valid, government issued photo identification, accepted forms include drivers license, military ID card, State ID card or a passport.
- Receipt for payment of the $75.00 test fee payable in the Cashiers office located in Gaiser Hall. (accepted forms of payment include cash, money order or charge)
- If under the age of 19 a high school release form obtainable at your area high school.
