Strategic Planning for the Future
At Clark College, we care deeply about where we’re going and, most importantly, whether we’re providing pathways to success for our students.
The Clark College Strategic Plan provides the path for us as an institution. It outlines our vision, mission, core values, strategic priorities, strategic initiatives and performance measures. It provides the framework for our planning and decision-making. It is a map for the future.
In October 2003, 27 talented individuals representing the college and community began work on the 2004-2009 Strategic Plan that has guided us since that time. That document was updated in 2007.
As we approach our 75th anniversary, it’s time to create our next five-year strategic plan. This process will provide an opportunity to review our Mission, Vision, Mission Imperatives and Strategic Priorities to be sure that they support our commitment to student success.
A new collegewide task force has been established to guide our efforts.
Beginning in April 2008, these task members will meet twice each month to keep our efforts moving forward. Task Force meetings will generally be held from 1-3 p.m. at the college's main campus.
Our 2004-2009 Strategic Plan and our 2007 update define the mission, values, and priorities of Clark College and provide the framework for our decision-making process.
The January 2007 issue of The Clark Journal provides an excellent overview of the Strategic Plan.
We will continue to update our progress on this critically important effort in support of our students and our community
